We’re just under two months out from our public launch at RSAC 2025, and it’s been a whirlwind. We’re grateful for all the support from our customers, partners, and investors; we’re looking forward to continuing the amazing momentum.

This week marks the first major update to Minimus since launch. While we release new images and new image lines every day, our feature releases occur roughly every six weeks.

In this week’s release, we’ve focused on improvements to our actions, advisories, integrations, as well as updating the frontend of the Minimus web console.

Web Console Improvements

We shipped a number of improvements to the Minimus web console, including context-sensitive help and revised tooltips. We’ve also improved accessibility and mobile responsiveness for the image gallery. The UX and front-end teams have been hard at work over the past month, shipping 239 improvements and updates.

Improved Advisories and CVE Visibility

Exploit advisories now more directly link to images and image lines within Minimus. Each advisory now lists impacted images in your environment, allowing you to quickly ascertain threats across your stack. Advisory labels (ie, “Active Exploit”) are now integrated into the Image line view as well, so you can quickly see whether a specific image in your environment is at risk.

In addition to this, the image line view now integrates CVE fix information so you can see what CVEs have been remediated as of each update within an image line.

Updated Scanner Support

We’ve been working with our partners to ensure Minimus images are fully supported by the industry-leading scanners. In the past weeks, full Minimus support has been added to Grype, Trivy, Orca, and Wiz - with over a dozen additional integrations currently in active development. Additionally, the Minimus OSV advisory feed is now regularly published to osv.dev.

Improved Action Providers

The action providers for Slack, GitHub and Email have been significantly improved, making it easier to integrate Minimus to those systems and automate alerts or actions based on new advisories or updated images.

Get Started

All in all, the team delivered 31 new features, and over 374 improvements, updates, bugfixes and performance enhancements to the Minimus application.
